The reason for this column was an interview in a Dutch Magazine with a woman called Ingrid Thijssen. Now director VNO-NCW, claiming to be largest industry organisation in the Netherlands. Before she laid her hands on 13 different jobs. Here the article that alarmed X journalist Ab Flipse.

Unfortunately the article is in Dutch, but it touches the German and French Industry as well. So let me interpret the important issues in English. Mrs Thijssen started with the “fact” that the Ukraine war would damage the Dutch industry. Is Mrs Thijssen not aware who created this conflict in 2014? (not in 2022) Obama and Biden. Thijssen states that the European industry is loosing power in a high tempo. Another reason she mentioned is the high cost of energy. What caused the explosion of energy rates? The hideous sanctions against Russia. Applauded by NCO NCW. Thijssen mentioned that the former DAF manufacturer Ned-Car, until now making Minis for BMW, has to close down. Why did BMW give the Dutch company the sack? Quality?

BMW keeps producing the Minis in a NON-EU country. Oxford/UK. Many Asian car manufacturers remained in the UK after Brexit. Why? High quality and use of top technology. DAF/Ned-Car is situated in Eindhoven. The City is named “The Brainport of Holland” They should be able to keep NED-Car afloat?

Did the UK right by divorcing the money swallowing EU?

The time off electric cars is over. New fuel engines are cleaner than cars on the plug. You might have seen that automotive manufacturers advertise electric cars like hot cakes. They can’t sell them anymore. Maybe time to go back to the petrol car future.

Off course all politicians blame Putin for everything. But I think Wladimir was cleverer than the rest. Mrs Thijssen worries shit about the new BRICS business alliance. Yes, Russian, China and India could take over. And might destroy the development of the Western economies. The EU has been in a disastrous state for many years. Wasting Billions left-right and centre. It all has been seen a long time coming.

Thijssen mentioned that Germany and France were in a similar bad state. Might be, but the farmers are fighting to put that right. Maybe even bring down the governments. French farmers go as far as building walls around politician’s houses and spray mug over it.

I must say, the Dutch farmers were the 1st to try this. But the public was annoyed when motorways were blocked. So no public support.

The whole European political and economical system has to be overhauled. This can not be done by the sitting or intermedium governments. It has to be done by the power of the people. The UK tries with TheindependentAlliance.org. Worth reading their manifesto. Or read thelightpaper.co.uk

In the meantime the Dutch interim government signed a 10 year defence deal with the Ukraine. Sweden joins NATO and Ukraine the EU.
